When to keep the original
Keep Lovable if the prototype fits and a real export rehearsal succeeds. A new builder will not eliminate the need to own security and live-app costs.
Migration rehearsal
Create a copy of the project, remove production secrets, export data using a documented method and run the tests in the candidate workflow. Compare the work needed to restore service after a failed change. Keep the original until the rehearsal succeeds.
